Throughout then Bible, it was documented that Many STUDIED The Scriptures. Some night and day. Some got it right about The Christ.
Saddly some are still waiting for the Messiah.
Today there are still many who have a belief in an approx year when The Lord Jesus Christ is Coming back.
Do you have any idea's or heard of any?
It was strange one morning, I woke up and reached for my mobile Ph, which has a calculator on it. Both that and the Bible were beside my bed.
Working on a dream and knowledge of the Earth, I got a year and then went directly back to sleep, happy and a little excited.
I will let you know my answer once a few people answer this. To show I and know one is copying? Or hopefully the Scholars agree with me!
I have not heard of any year He will return, until I woke up with the bible and a calculator that morning.

I was going to put pls don't say only The Father knows.
It says he knows the date and the hour, I am asking for an approx year, from scholars of the bible, as did the prophets and Scripture studiers knew when He was born.
And also people were told by angels.
Also I had almost forgotten about this until I read someone elses answer.
So I don't have to justify myself to anyone, but The Christ, my Lord and Savior.

The Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. But I believe that the children of God will know the exact day as it arrives just as the prophets under Elijah knew that day the Lord was going to take him from them. And we as Christians, shall know the season of His return, as the door is opening, signs are given as a woman who is going to give birth of her child. Her pains are short and far between but as the hours go by, her pains get stronger and longer, until the time of her delivery. So it is with the world. Famine, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, money problems, sickness and diseases will increase more and more until the Lord comes for His Bride and then the world will be cleansed of it evil, ruled by Antichrist and his mark upon all in order to buy or sell, for a seven year period in which the world will be plagued just as it was in Pharaoh's day unto Moses..The only thing that saved the people then was the blood of a lamb, what will save the people now? The Blood of a LAMB-Jesus Christ!

Well, Jesus seemed to imply that his second coming would come as a surprise, when people were least expecting it ("Like a thief in the night").
If we knew the approximate time that judgment day would occur, then some people might be tempted to go out and live in sin, and then conveniently repent at the last possible moment just to get into Heaven. Apparently Jesus is trying to avoid all of that last minute, insincere repentance by keeping the timing of his return a secret.
A lot of people have tried to predict the approximate time of the second coming over the years, and so far everyone has been wrong. Some people tried to avoid naming an exact time, which Jesus expressly says is impossible, and only gave an approximate month, or just a year. Back when I was in college, I remember someone saying on the evening news that Jesus would return sometime in the next 72 hours. Obviously it didn't happen, since we all still here.
Maybe it was just a dream that you had. But just in case, try to be really good that year. You never know, and Jesus said that we should be always be ready for his return at any moment.

Yes, we do not know the day or the hour when the rapture will happen. However, there are hints in the Bible that we are approaching the year. Jesus said to watch for the signs, just as we can tell when "summer is near" so we can read the signs of the times.
One of the main mile markers was Israel becoming a nation again in 1948. That was significant. Today, the ability to destroy an entire city "in one hour" is possible. To track all economic activity with embedded chips is possible. For everyone to see the Abomination that makes Desolate is possible.
There are hints in scripture that we have reached the end of the 6,000th year of the planet earth being under slavery to sin. According to God's plan of 6 and 1, (ie 6 years you till the land, the 7th let it rest etc) God's millennial "day of rest" is around the corner.
There are other signs, but that should give enough information for the naysayers to give me some thumbs downers. ;)

Ok, like you've said...it's just a dream. It might happen in that year, and it might not.
However, like the Bible says, no one knows but the Father. I think it's wise if people stop guessing, and just prepare for that special day. That's what's really important, isn't it? That people are ready to go when Christ comes, so that they don't stay for the tribulation.
So, w/ that said, I invite any Christian who reads this to continue doing what we're put on Earth to do, and keep spreading the Good News. Don't even worry about the time, day, week, month, or even the year it might happen. If you follow Christ, you're ready...now let's help the lost get found.
God bless.

Miraculous dreams from God have happened and the Bible records them. Miraculous signs have accompanied important stages in God's plan and the Bible is full of them. Yet when the greatest sign of all came - silently, in the dead of night to an insignificant dot on the Jewish map - very few people believed it. Only a few shepherds saw and believed and, of course, Mary and Joseph. When Jesus grew up some Jews asked him for a miraculous sign. He answered 'A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Johan. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth' (Matthew 12:38-45).
You apparently did not ask for a sign. You had a strange dream. If it is of God, you would do well to keep it to yourself unless and until God instructs you to do otherwise. But don't forget that Jesus also said that when he returns, it will even catch his own people out, let alone the scoffers. He will come as a thief in the night, when no-one expects him. So I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for God to pronounce the year.

Hi LadyEagle7. Well of course no one knows the day or the
hour, YET. But I personally believe that this is the generation
that will see the Rapture of the Church. Furthermore before
that happens I believe that the body of Christ will be changed
at some point before, not during the Rapture. Possibly 40 days
has been proposed by Charles Capps because Jesus
ascended 40 days after the Resurrection. For those of of us
who believe in the pre-trib Rapture of the Church we can
count 7 years from that day when the Lord Jesus will return
to set up His Kingdom with His Throne in Jerusalem.
Please don't ask me for scripture on this one. I have a little
ways to go before I can start quoting chapter and verse on
this position.
But I would start with Romans 8:1 to defend the pre-trib Rapture.
1 Th 4:17 to defend the Rapture itself, not to mention Enoch,
possibly Moses, Elijah, and Jesus Himself. Then of course
I believe there is a mid-trib Rapture, and of course the Rapture of the two witnesses(I lean toward Enoch and Elijah).
Anyone wishing to disagree with me on any of this would
do well, to check out Hal Lindsey, Charles Capps, John Hagee, Zola Levitt(late), Hilton Sutton, and a host of other noteworthy successful Televangelists. They are much better
qualified to dialog on this subject.
Hope this helps.

Matt 24:36 Jesus says no man knows the day or hour, not the angels, only God in heaven. But He says nothing about the month or year. Numbers have significant meanings throughout the Bible, and even time spans and ages. A brilliant mathematician may be able to come close. but no one can be sure.

Let's consider what Jesus said regarding the time of His return in Mark 13:32 - 35 (Read the entire chapter for context.):
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' " (NIV)
So, don't fall prey to seducing/lying demonic spirits and the deceptions of the Devil! I repeat, "NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR OF HIS RETURN, NOT EVEN JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF! ONLY THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!" Also, I have one, final question: Are you ready for ETERNITY? (http://www.NeedGod.com) I know that I am... and I hope you are, too! Enjoy! [(\o/)(XP)]

Ladyeagle,
While no one knows the "day and hour" there are a few clues given in scripture.
According to many of the Lords parables it will be "after a long time". (I think that almost 2000 years would qualify as a 'long time'. lol)
Also, its kind of like Christmas and Thanksgiving (here in the U,S.) Say you alwasy knew when christmas was coming due to the signs given, but didnt know when thanksgiving was.
Well since Thanksgiving comes BEFORE Christmas, if you started to see all of the "christmas signs" in the shops and the radio playing christmas music, you could say to yourself, "wow, thanksgiving MUST be really near", since it comes first.
Same thing with the Tribulation and the Rapture.
