Of course it does. More so than burning fossil fuels.

Yes...any fuel creates a potential for climate change.

however, biofuel is supposedly better because it is recycled from oils that have already been used. Burning it is no cleaner than any other fuel.

It DOES smell better...I love the smell of french fries!!!

The manufacturing of bio fuels creat almost as much green house gases as just using oil based fuels.

(give it time.... they will get it right)

I recently read a study that forest is 11X more efficient at absorbing the CO2 than biofuel decreases the emissions for the same surface...

provided that the same surface can off course be equally used for forestry OR biocrops

Let's put it this way. It has at least as much greenhouse gases effect as current fuels. It simply reduces our dependance on oil.
