I'm a college undergrad who is looking for an internship for summer 2008. In your opinion, is GE a good place to intern, and possibly work after graduation? Please provide anecdotal or empirical data to support your opinion (any answers not containing relevant data will be given a "thumbs down").

It's a company that profits during military engagements.

However, they do good work on motors, generators, industrial automation, and wind power generation. If you can work on good programs, I'd recommend it.

For moral and economic reasons, I'd avoid the military side of things.
