I found an old friend from High School - We werent close but I had the hots for him!! Anyways...Its been a long time and I found him online, we have messaged a few times. I heard he was in the army..so he tells me about he was a few things he went there. He was in the army, as a military police officer...and was also a sergeant at times...What do I say to him - I dont wanna sounds too corney...he got honarable discharge...Im happy and proud of what he has done and happy that he is ok and back home continueing his life here...He got back in collage also...

Find things you have in common with him now. If in conversation he brings up the army then ask him questions if you are curious. If you are not familiar with the military ( ie been in, married to someone in, lived on base ) sometimes it becomes a pain in the butt talk about it without having to explain 5 different rules and regulations of why something just is

Ask him if he ever deployed and what he did as an MP if he did. The MP's in our unit used to transport prisoners back and forth. In garrison (not deployed) they act just like regular police, except on post.
