My movie maker was working good untill my mom tried to copy a CD with it instead of the media player. now I try to go on it, and a window pops up saying the movie maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. It suggests e-mailing an error report (I've mailed about twenty by now) All I want to do is fix it without paying someone to do it ,or buying new software that's simmilar (which I just might do if this dosen't work) any suggestions?

I tried downloading but there was an error. I don't know if I can uninstall it without loosing it for good, can't find it anyway. I am just so frustrated! :(

If you are expecting an reply back to your error report, don't hold your breath. MS never replies to the reports. They just compile the information so they can look for issues that might need fixing. MS never intended to respond to those reports.

Try going to http://microsoft.com and do a search for Movie Maker. They have relased a new version (2.0) of the program that you can download for free. Hopefully upgrading to the newer version will fix the issues you are having with it.
