I read in someones answer that Christ died for everyone - not just christians. If that is true, why do christians try to convert me and other non-believers? If I can have the benefits of forgiveness and salvation, why convert and believe in fairytales?

Well, if you don't convert, you won't be giving their church alot of money every Sunday, so it is very important that they control your heart and your mind, therefore your pocketbook.

You misunderstood them. Jesus died for everyone in the sense that anyone can believe in him and receive salvation. He died for everyone but salvation is conditional.

Let's say you had a premonition that a boat is about to sink. You quickly bring a safety boat to save everyone. Your boat has room for everybody. The problem is that not everyone believes that the boat will sink. For someone to get saved he has to willingly get on board that safety boat.

It's the same with Jesus-Christ. To receive the benefits of forgiveness and salvation you have to get on the safety boat. The safety boat is J-C, the action of getting in the boat is faith and repentence.

Christ died for everyone's sins. You are not born a Christian. You become a Christian when you accept the gift of eternal life in God's presence by believing that Christ is the son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died, and arose from the dead. Your soul was created for eternity. You choose where to spend it.

What difference does it make if you are anti Christians! I'm not calling you that. It is in your bio. If someone want to convert you, or any other non believer! it is simple just say no thanks.

If you don't believe! no answer will be sufficient. These questions have been asked many many times, and they are still being asked again. So, let it go.

finally! a question properly worth answering!! What if we could be sinless? What could that say approximately Christ? Why hardship coming right here in any respect. to boot, you're able to could desire to settle for that Christ demise on the flow grew to become into merely approximately our sins. What if it wasn't. What if the message of Christs loss of existence grew to become into extra approximately how we take care of human beings, approximately our concern, our immaturity and our attachment to this worldwide. individually, i think of that Jesus's loss of existence grew to become into extra a fact approximately our own self value and attachment to our bodies. In his loss of existence, we found out that inspite of the fact that painful it is no longer had to concern it. all the failings of this worldwide that we expect of are actual are merely dissolved upon loss of existence. We concern loss of existence by way of fact we'd like the failings we could desire to constantly stick around. As for sin, i can not seem to bypass a single day without it (no rely how tricky I try) and yet Christ grew to become into sinless. Kindof magnificent isn't it?

salvation may be free but it's only there far all who r willin to accept it in doin so one must acknowledge that christ is lord and creator. to be forgiven is one thing but to continue commitin the same sin is another thing. u ever heard of the unforgiveable sin? christians like myself hv a role to play because it is written in the bible that our one aim is to "go ye therefore and teach all nations.............................teachin them to observe all things whatsoever i command u and lo i am with u always even to the end of the world" matt 28:19
