False. First, it is assuming the person is not aware of theior cultures assumptions, AND that all of those who live in a culture share the same assumptions.

F the basics are just that, basics, a foundation to grow on and then you can compare to other cultures and learn by comparison. Remember 2 things.....
1. Know thyself
2. Moderation in all things

True.
If you are never exposed to anything different, you won't even know that you have *unexamined* assumptions - you'll believe that they are universals, and probably also think they are "the only right way" to be.
Of course, some folks, even when smacked in the face with cultural differences, will remain amazingly unaffected, intellectually.

True - because we can learn from many cultures a plethora of life solutions and ethics! and the good part is you don't have to let go of your culture .... but just add to the cultural treasure!
