Bella and Sophi are very popular for female Italian Greyhounds. I chose very un-Italian names for my 2 IG's. Blue and Pedro. I co-own a Italian Greyhound Forum that is full of great information on the breed, iggyplanet.com

Please, don't call it "Ciao bella", or "Mamma mia" or Pizza, Mafia, Pasta or another one of this stupid stereotyps! PLEASE!
So, some "classical" italian dog's name are...
Luna (=moon);
Stella (=star, it's for people too)
Gemma (=Gem, it's for people too)
Gioia (=Joy)
Giada (=Jade, it's for people too)
Chicca (I think in English it sounds like Keekka /KImberly+K+CAr/ , I'm sorry it's not very clear! "Chicco" means "grain". In Italian there isn't a female form for it, but Chicca is often the short name for female names like Francesca and Federica)

Some names from Roman Mythology:
Diana (the goddess of moon and hunting)
Giunone (=Juno, Jupiter's wife)
Minerva (the goddess of craft, poetry and wisdom)
Dea (= Goddess!)

Or you can give her the name of an Italian city like Verona, Venezia (=Venice), Firenze (=Florence), Roma (=Rome)... this is not very respectful, but it can go ;-)
