Im going to make bath salts for favor gifts for my daughters baby shower. I know how to make them but I need some ideas on what to put them in that would be attractive and of course low cost somewhat. Any idea out there, pls help. Thanks!

You could always use mason/canning jars.....and tie really attractive ribbon around the top. You could even go so far as to paint the jar or lid.

Another idea is to go to a place like Ross or Goodwill or another clearance department store. Look for wine bottles or jars or something FUNKY on clearance. You can usually get them for about $1.00 a piece (if not less)

Create your own "ingredient/instructions" label out of parchment paper or with nice cardstock on your computer. Be sure to include the Baby Shower info......the date and baby's name.

You could also use baby bottles!! Buy the really inexpensive ones from WalMart or Target (the store brand ones). When writing out the instructions make sure to tell them how many capfuls to put in...with the larger cap size!!

good luck and have fun....and I personally believe that bath salts are one of the nicest favors to hand out at the shower. So Good Choice!!!

Get mini glass bottles at the craft store.. Michael's/Pat Catan's... I like mini clasp jars.. Or maybe small "wine" type bottles with cork stoppers.. Even a Arizona Ice-T bottle with a screw top lid w/ an attractive label.. Or a cheaper way... To put the salt crystals in sturdy plastic baggies w/ gold/silver ribbon's/ties... That would be your most cost effective way... Make a few different scents and have them pre-pkg. induvidual baggies...

You can either buy small tiny tupperware or go to the craft store...for one dollar they have little mason jars with a lid that stays detached
