Let me know when somebody actually manages to define what or who a terrorist is. According to every definition offerred so far by the ideologogues talking about terror or terrorism every Government in the world qualifies.

Osama and the Mujahadeen were freedom fighters and America's heros when Reagan was funding them to the hilt to cause problems for Russia in Afghanistan. It was only after they turned around and bit the USA that they became terrorists.
I guess the first thing to do to deal with terrorists would be to quit creating them.
The second thing would be to round up the existing terrorists and make them go get real jobs.
The third thing would be to stop invading other countries and making the locals so angry that they try to kill you.
Terrorism is a Tactic, and it does not matter if the terrorist wears rags and has to walk almost everywhere, or if he wears a suit and can order a nuclear holocaust by pushing a button in a briefcase.

Depends on the Secular Humanist - not all agree. OTOH, most agree that long term, the best approach is fighting the mental battle against religious belief, as that is what creates terrorists.

If it were me, the quote could have been: "there is not worldwide peace till God's residing house and God's anybody is given their rightful place of management on the impressive of the worldwide. How can there be peace while drunkards, drug sellers, communists, atheists, New Age worshipers of devil, secular humanists, oppressive dictators, grasping moneychangers, imaginitive assassins, adulterers, homosexuals and Pat Robertson are on impressive?

Capture or kill the actual terrorists, those committing the acts and those planning them.
Have a foreign policy that does not push other people into becoming terrorists.

I'm all for killing them. I just wish Bush was better at geography and had realized that it was Pakistan where the guys who killed 3000 of my fellow citizens are hiding and not in Iraq. Now we have another mess to clean up before we can get back to getting the guys who did this terrible deed.
