Eternal Love
As he slowly approaches the bed
He stops and just stares
She lies asleep upon the sheets
Her hair gently lies upon her shoulders
He pulls the covers down the bed
She looks more beautiful than any angel
He lies next to her
He goes to kiss her rosy lips
She awakes to his deep hazel eyes
They kiss with feathers softness
Carefully caressing her body, his hands move down her face
Down her neck, and slowly over her chest
She brings her hands up his back
Brushes her fingers through his brown hair
He moves in closer to her kissing her neck
Whispering in her ear how much he loves her
He awakens to a dark room lying quietly alone
He remembers what has happen
His eyes fill with a terrible sadness
How she was taken from mind and body
The eternal love that lost his wife
But gained him something more
A little girl with beach blonde curls
A smile that brightens his darkest days
She speaks three words to make him joyful

I think it is beautiful and I wish you a new love in your life. Your daughter is blessed to have had you both in her life. Anyone who can be that vivid with someone who is gone truly deserves another chance in love. I hope you persue it for you have so much to give. As to publisher - there are so many to choose from on line and contests in your Sunday paper....try that first...good luck to you.
