God alone is the source of Salvation. Grace is God's act, and Faith & Obedience are man's response to God's Grace. Hence ...
Grace + Faith + Obedience = Salvation
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin." -- Romans 6:1-7 KJV

Mine would have to be Transformation.
Showing how we can be transformed from sinners into sons.
Romans 12:2
And do not be fashioned according to this age but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect"
See the benefits of being renewed. To be so clear before the Lord as a christian is so crucial
I like this verse in 2 Corinthians 3:18 also because it shows that our transformation is not just for us but that WE all with unveiled FACE can behold the Lord's glory and we are all being transformed into the same image. CHRIST.
"But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror, the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory even as from the Lord Spirit"
So day by day.. the Spirit within us works through all the environments.. the good and bad to transform us from all the damage we incurred being in adam to being transformed in all our inward parts to like Christ.
These are actually some of the steps that happen during the course of our christian life. They are all continueous except for Regeneration and Justification.. those are solid and our base for God to build and carry out the other processes in us.
Regeneration
Justification
Sanctification
Renewing
Transformation
Conformation
Glorification
The Lord works all these processes into us day by day as we open our being up to Him.
praise the Lord!

Ok... Favorite... Yup, this IS harder.
Salvation verses are a given - because they set me free... but they aren't where I go for peace on a repeat basis.
John 14 and 15 are a central theme in my life - "fear not, for I am with you and abide in Me and I will abide in you..."
So are 2nd Corinthians chapter 1 - "God of all comfort" and Ezekiel 11 - "I will take away their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh" and Jeremiah 29 - "Seek Me and you will find Me" and I cling to Isaiah 54 - "The Lord your Maker is Your husband, He who is called the God of the whole earth..." The teachings on what the fruits of the Spirit are in Galatians 5:22-23 and 1st Corinthians 13:4-8a... sort of as a check list for living each day...
It depends on where my walk takes me with Him.
Today it would have to be Isaiah 43 - both for the "Do not fear - for no one can take you from Me" in verse 13 - and the "Behold I make ALL things NEW" in verses 18-21.
Peace.

Being rooted and grounded in love to comprehend the height and depth of Christ.
It is wonderful. The Bible is written in such a way that the simple can understand and the intellect cannot apart from the Spirit of God.

I like the part about slaves having to be good slaves -- not that I advocate slavery, but it's nice to know that the deity approves of it.
I also enjoy having multiple (submissive) wives as I have no ambition of being a deacon in the church.
