A special advanced notice for this rare
occurrence of 2 moons in the sky on August 27, 2007 :

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night
sky starting August.**
It will look as large as the full moon to the
naked eye. This will happen on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in
>*2287*.**
Four of the planets can be compared to the four horseman of the Apocalypse, one of the visions predicted for the future in Revelation. These 4 horsemen are predicted to ride during an apocalyptic period with wars, weather changes, earthquakes, plagues, economic disaster, etc. The horsemen are:
red horse, whose rider has a sword -- war. This must be Mars, the red planet symbolizing war. And note that in October 2005 Mars was near its brightest as seen from earth, possibly indicating war in 2007-2010..August 28, 2007. A lunar eclipse..War.

"Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.** It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye."

********! And you expect to be taken seriously?

ROTFLMAO!

You do realize, don't you , that there are FIVE planets easily visible to the naked eye? What's the fifth one represent? The Antichrist? LOL!

What a maroon!

ADDENDUM

"The moon is half the size of mars, and it is 28,900 miles away (roughly). If Mars were to come within 35 miles of the earth, it would take up the entire sky and we wouldn't be able to see the entire thing. "

Uh. your facts are just a tad off. She did not say that Mars would come within 35 miles of the earth. She said 34.5M miles - million. You did better on your earth-moon distance. You were only off by a factor of 10.
==================

"However, even then you could not see it with the naked eye, you had to have a telescope with 75 power magnification"

Don't you guys ever even look up at night? You do NOT need a telescope to see Mars even when it is at its farthest point from the earth. Sheesh!

First of all you should really research these types of things before you post them.

This has already happen in 2003. On Aug. 27, 2003 Mars came within 35 million miles of earth and appeared 6 times larger and 85 times brighter. However, even then you could not see it with the naked eye, you had to have a telescope with 75 power magnification. In 2005 it came almost as close but was 20% smaller. Mars comes this close to Earth every 15-17 years. The only thing you got right was that there will be a lunar eclipse on Aug. 28, 2007 therefore some parts of the world would even see this phemnonmeon even if it was taking place.

Also, God clearly states that know one will notice when the End of Days begin. Before the wars we must have 7-10 years of peace.

Unfortunately this was true in 2003, but is not true now as Mars is no longer that close to earth. This has now fallen into the realm of urban legend as for the last 3 years emails have circulated about Mars being close to the earth... which was true in 2003 but is no longer the case. Obviously the four horseman speculation is false.

That's an internet hoax. They've had that out since 2003. It's just a day when Mars is particularly bright. It would be impossible for it to come that close to earth without hitting it. The two bodies are too massive, the gravitational pulls would be too strong and we would collide.

The moon is half the size of mars, and it is 28,900 miles away (roughly). If Mars were to come within 35 miles of the earth, it would take up the entire sky and we wouldn't be able to see the entire thing.

Negative, Ghostrider. Mars came that close back in 2003.

The closest it gets this year is about 54 million miles away, on December 24.

The minimum distance varies between about 55 and 100 million km due to the planets' elliptical orbits

Will you be online on August 28th?

Ugh not THIS again.
Trust me, go outside and look, Mars will NOT look "as big as the moon" to the naked eye.
If you are using a decent telescope it will be larger in the viewer. That's it. Nothing more.
But if your gullible enough to think that revelations is anything more than a fanciful story, then you're gullible enough to believe this online hoax...

Mars will be its closest for 2007 around Christmas.

I don't think Mars can come that close. Earth has a pretty strong magnetic field, and with a body that big ... I don't think it could happen.

We are already AT war. Thanks for the prediction, but you're a little behind the times.

Lunar eclipses don't symbolize war.

This is BS, and I'm not even an atheist.

The fact that you are gullible enough to believe something like "It (Mars) will look as large as the full moon to the
naked eye" is absolutely shocking.
