Bible sez: "Love your enemies. Do good to those who hurt you." The West has been manipulating the political systems of Middle Eastern countries for decades, stamping out democracy and installing compliant dictators. If we had left them alone, or at least didn't try to take advantage of them, there wouldn't be any "terrorists".

Terrorists are not only targeting Christians , they are everywhere.. and everybody is their targets..
now it is getting condensed to christian , Hindus and Muslims..
Previously it was Black vs White,
Jews vs Arabs
Iraqis vs Iranians
Communists vs Capitalists
Believers vs non believers
Man has been searching for some excuse to vent the anger against Exploitation, Change, Science,
and some like minded fools are trapped by some powerful ones to go against Holy Work of Destroying the work of those who are not fitting to their ideology..
A time will come when Computers , Internet user too will be on the hit list of terrorists as it spreads the atheism, agnostic isms, knowledge , makes people fearless and challenges dogmatic rituals..

As a real believer and not behaving as carnal Christians we are supposed to be taught that the weapons we use are not carnal (of the flesh) but mighty in power casting down every stronghold that comes against us. The sword of truth which is the Word. We are to believe that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We are not to fear because God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and of a strong mind. We are to stand and be strong and courageous and never ever deny that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. We are to pray for our enemies pray for our brothers and sisters who are now being persecuted and killed for their faith pray for those who are in deception, pray for those who exchange the truth for a lie, who say evil is good, that allah is the same God that we serve, He is not the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. pray for the revelation of the true Messiah comes to more muslims and to whomsoever will. Storm the heavens with your prayers. This is the christian thing to do.

Islamic terrorism is inherent to the word of Mohammad. Any fools who believe that “things like water desalination, social infrastructure, education and health care” will help are sadly mistaken, insane, delusional or all of the above.
Why in the hell is it our responsibility to bail out backwards civilizations who are backwards because their 7th century religious ideology keeps them in the 7th century?!?!?! And when we do try to bail them out they behead our missionaries and red cross personnel!
As a Christian I dream and wish we can all “just get along” but, as a thinking person who is cognitively aware of human nature I know that there will always be dominance of one ideology or the other be it social/economic or religious. God willing it will be sound, common sense, fair, enlightened Judeo/Christian ideology.
What should we do about Islamic terrorists? Forgive them but, do everything we can to protect ourselves from them. Preemptive strikes if necessary. God teaches us to love our neighbors but, NOT to be idiots and suicidal.

Just pray, and have faith.
As Christians we can't change the world physically. But we can change it spiritually, through prayer, fasting, and having faith.

As Christians, it is our job to pray for them to turn their un-belief to belief in God. Their Salvation is just as important to them as it is for us. Christ did not only die for American. He died for people in the whole world.
Pray changes things, but we are not to pray only a one night stand for them. Continually the Word says.

What would the world be like if we had spend Billions of dollars in the last 5 years on things like water desalination (so that everyone had access to clean water for drinking), social infrastructure, education and health care? I imagine that terrorism would take care of itself.

I know we need to "turn the other cheek", but I don't think that means to stand still and allow them to kick our @ss. We need to defend ourselves. That's as far as I can go with any kind of confidence.
Blessed Be

Continue to pray...and keep from having hate in my heart...
And to remember ...as hard as it may seem to say..."For God so loved Osama Bin Ladin, that He gave His only Son to die."
I need to remember God's love isn't open to my vote.
