I think at the time after they get caught they really do (act) like they love you when really they just feel bad that they hurted your feelings and they would say anything they think you might want to hear them say...so they don't really mean what they are saying ........because

I can honestly say I trust my husband 100 percent and he knows if he ever cheat he can beg until his hair fall out I will not forgive him and I will never ever go back..because I do believe once a cheater always a cheater........Even if your guy cheat once and stop for awhile he will get the urge again......

They don't think they will get caught AND they don't think of the consequences they just think of getting laid. He will most likely do it again. You should leave him. Make him suffer the way you probably did when you found out. My ex cheated on me, I found out. He begged me to stay, I did. 3 years and a child later, I left him and after I did he made me feel so guilty and acted like he couldn't live without me. 3 months later I found out he cheated on me 3 different times that I never caught him for. I am so much better off now.

Because men that cheat are selfish jerks, Abby. They want to eat their cake and every other sweet dessert on the table.

And they don't want to feel guilty about it.

So they act like they need you... because what they want is your forgiveness... and if you forgive him that makes (in his mind) the cheating ok. He gets a clean slate, and he'll do it all over again... because he "knows" if he grovels that he'll get forgiven again.
