okay well first someone called my house at like 7:30 but the message was nothing but crackling. then someone called just barely and the message was nothing but crackling on the asner machine, yesteday i called my home phone and left a message and it crackled a little cause i used my cell phone. Am i the only one who thinks that this call n crackle thing is a bit scary? Or am i just paranoid?

my answering works fine, but i think it was a wrong number and the person forgot to hangup at first.

It sounds like you need to replace your answering machine.

Well it could be nothing really, try calling the phone company. If you think it is serious though call the police because I have had a stalker over the phone and he said creepy things, I told my best friend and she went to the police. After awhile the phone calls stopped but it was really scary because of the sexual references he said.
There is also a number you can look up in your telephone book to trace the call for the police automatically. Try this if you are worried and they will be able to track them when you put in this number after he's called.

Let me recommend caller ID or call your phone company to get them to track the number.
