My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 25 Months now. Even though we are not pregnant yet, I like to day dream about the day I get to tell him we are expecting... I plan to suprise him with a picture of the pregnancy test and a teeshirt that says "I'm Going To Be A Daddy!"

My question is, do you think that he would be offended if I took the pregnancy test without him there or would he want to be a part of the actual taking of the test?

I like your idea! It's cute and I am sure he would appreciate it. It's sweet. My husband was there when I took the test , but I kinda wish I would've surprised him. Even more-so if we had been trying as long as you have. Best of luck to you. I hope it's soon!

I agree with the first answerer here. I think that as long as he is the first person you tell it will all be good.

I daydream about that moment as well! Telling my husband, telling my parents, my husband's parents. I can't wait!!!

I go back and forth on whether to surprise him or not. I definitely want to surprise my parents and in-laws, but I'm not sure I can hold out from telling my husband long enough to put together a surprise!

Good luck! I hope your daydreams become reality real soon! Lots of baby dust your way!

When I took my test I did it in private. But took a second one with him..."just to make sure"

I have since miscarried, and will probably handle the testing part the same way when I do conceive again.

Good Luck!

I don't think he will be offended but giving that you two have been waiting so long and trying so hard, I think it will be best if the both of you were there and read the results together when you discover your dream come true., This is what I want for my Dh and I when that day finally comes true for us.

I think as long as he's the first to know it's OK to take it alone!! I don't think the question of whether to have my husband there for that or not ever crossed my mind. I just assumed that I took the test and told him!

well i know my fiancee was right there with me to look at our test, and it was amazing finding out at the same time, but it would also be great to suprise your husband, ask him which he wants as to not upset him. by the way good luck i wish you and your husband the best! (",)

Oh yeah, go ahead and take it.

Call him and tell him he is a daddy if it is positive.

My hubby wants to do everything with me...go to every doc appt, etc., but he really could have cared less if he was there while I peed on the stick! lol.

Good luck!

the two human beings in this relationship are screwed up in the top. He for asking her decrease back 7 cases; She for going decrease back 7 cases. it is definitely a dysfunctional relationship. i could opt to think of that when the seventh failed attempt i could sensible up and merely walk away for stable yet given the background, it incredibly is probable a cycle doomed to repeat itself till one or the different open thier eyes.

i dont think he would be offended, if you do something like this. maybe do it while he's at work and have it and a nice dinner waiting on him when he gets home! Good Luck!
