Throw em on the grill. A little Sweet Baby Ray's, cook em just til they're a little tiny bit charred and you'll be set! Man I want some, can I come over for dinner?? I'll bring the potato salad and corn on the cob!

i use this on chicken thighs when i have bbq's. pretty simple recipe and tastes great. the sauce is a variation on the fridays jack daniels sauce.
1. grill the the tighs outside with or without skin
2. in a pot on your stove, saute (medium high) a clove of garlic and 1/8th of a large vivaldi onion in 2tbsp of olive oil
3. once the onions and garlic are slightly brown add 2 pinapple rings cup up very small and 3 shots of sweet sherry or marsala wine (can use whisky or burbon if need be, but only use about a shot and a half). let simmer for a minute or two. ( since you're adding alcohol to a hot pot be careful of flair-ups).
4. turn heat down to low/meduim and add a bottle of teriyaki sauce(12/16oz), 3/5 cup of sugar and 2 shots of pinapple juice.
5. let this simmer for 20/25 minutes until it has become pretty thick. since it is mostly sugar keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't burn. (usually by the time the chicken thighs are done the sauce is done as well.)
6. once the chicken has finished grilling cover with this sauce (and sesame seeds if you want) and serve

put those legs in a medium size pot and add the bbq sauce, some broth or citrus juice and simmer til the meat falls off the bone. By the time that happens the sauce will be sticky and gooey and you just pull the bones out of the meat, shred the meat to make sure all the bones and slivers are out and then pour that mess onto a french loaf that has been sliced open and splayed flat.
Maybe not the quickest but definitely tasty.

This really ain't fast....i make a good potato chicken soup
and it is my own recipe and you can try if you like
step 1 boil your chicken in water and some spices of your choice with some veggies like celery, carrots, onions,as if you was making chicken and dumplings,Step 2 boil some potato's(6 to 10) as if you was making potato supe...
after your chicken is done let it cool and debone the chicken
and save the broth from the chicken..
after the potato's are done just make them into mashed potato but a little lumpy, you will need some (half and half about 1 cup) to mix with the broth(4 cups) from the chicken
and mix this stuff together and it is pretty good.

This is not for the BBQ, but it is a good one.
In a glass Pyrex dish, put in the chicken, garlic chopped, onions, and a couple cans of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, (any cream soup will do) do not add water to the soup. Smother chicken with the soup, cover with foil and back for 45 min. Serve over a bed of egg noodles or rice.
Enjoy.

Option 1: Rub oil into the skin on the chicken season with salt and pepper a good bit then put in the oven to roast and use loads of gravy when serving with roast potatoes and stuffing..My fave dinner
Or else you could just smother with the bbq sauce and put them in the oven and serve with salad or potatos

Smother in BBQ sauce and honey (and red pepper if you like spicy food) for at least 2 hours in a zip-lock bag then cook using either a grill (with aluminum foil under them) or in an oven.

if we bbq thighs we spice up store bought bbq sauce.
add garlic, red pepper powder, adobo, rum... and other spices..
but my fave way to make thighs is to stuff them with noodles and bake them.
i cook up wide or medium egg noodles and mix in crisp fried crumbled bacon and ranch dressing (add a lil mayo and tablespoons of milk if it seems too dry)
stuff the pocket btwn the skin and meat of the thigh. run poulty thread thru skin and meat to close pocket.
i sprinkle ranch powder on the outside skin and bake 350 till the chicken is cooked thru.
i love when a few noodles are sticking out of the pocket and they get cripsy during the baking process.
serve with a salad or veggie on the side.
this is a family favorite and we have been making it for almost 30 years!

Chicken thighs are great on the grill because they stay juicier than breasts. Just buy a marinade at the store and put them in a zip lock bag for an hour. Then grill them
