You're making the dough from scratch right? You can let it sit in the fridge for awhile.. Then I would let it sit at room temp for a few minutes before I started rolling it out. Then add your sauce and toppings just before baking.

No...dough will become soggy. To prepare ahead, you can pre-bake the crust, allow to cool, then put toppings on, much like the preparred pizzas in the store. 12 hours is a bit long to hold though, maybe you should freeze them.

Grocery stores and pizzerias around here sell "Ready to Bake" pizzas from their coolers all the time. Your's will be fine if covered and refrigerated. Set it on your counter while your oven is preheating and then you might not even need to add any additional baking time.

It will be just fine to refrigerate it. Think about the deli pizzas in grocery stores. They are made exactly as you describe and kept refrigerated for two or three days before you buy them.

I prebake the crust just enough to make a seal first before putting anything on to prevent from the crust getting soggy and that works for me
