I am a english student looking to rent a room in Verona. From september to august. I would like to be within walking distance of the conservatorio di verona. I would also like a double room.

"Sono una studentessa inglese in cerca di una camera a Verona. Da settembre ad agosto. Preferibilmente in prossimità del [near to] Conservatorio di Verona." [more specific for "within walking dinstance": "Meglio se è possibile raggiungere il Conservatorio a piedi"]
For the last sentence, I suppose you mean you'd like to share the room with another person in order to share the rent and other charges:
Cerco inoltre coinquilina per dividere le spese.
(I'm also looking for a joint tenant in order to share expenses)
or
Cerco inoltre altra studentessa per dividere le spese.
if you're looking for another student.
By the way, haven't you asked at the conservatorio? They should give some advice, especailly in finding another student who's looking for a cotenant.

Sono uno studente Inglese che vorrebbe affittare una stanza a Verona,dal mese di Settembre al prossimo Agosto. Possibilmente a poca distanza dal Conservatorio di Verona. Mi piacerebbe una stanza doppia. Grazie
