He is being senteneced FEDERALLY so it has things like mandatory minimums. Unlike Paris' sentence, she got time off for good behavior the minute she walked in the jail doors. Vick will have to serve a mandatory amount of time. The facility he serves it in, however, will be like day camp for kids. The Feds house non-violent offenders in low security facilites with no fence just a 4 foot brick wall surrounding the facility. He will likely have indoor and outdoor basketball courts, an indoor pool and other things that he shouldn't have. Regardless, he will still have to serve that mandatory minimum!

IF he does jail time it will most likely be a facility close to him that is indeed a minimum security 'prison' with many amenities that are not offered at real prisons. that is one of the perks of being famous and rich. he will most likely get preferential treatment.
"The offense is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, although federal sentencing guidelines most likely would call for less". this is a drop in the bucket to this man who has made millions just because he can run fast and catch a ball.
it will be interesting to say the least what punishment a judge gives him...

Since he is pleading to federal crimes, more than likely he will do any prison time in a Federal prison camp, like Martha Stewart. Although hardly Alcatraz, all personal freedoms are gone, as is privacy, etc. It is hardly "Club Fed" as some people have dubbed it.

If he gets sentenced to jail time, he has to serve it in a federal prison, which aren't easy in any way. He might be separated from the general population because of his celebrity status, but it won't be fun for him.

He'll go to a regular person but may be segregated for his own "protection." Maybe he should be thrown into a cell with a bunch of mean, hungry, pit bulls?

Whatever it is, it's not as nice as his house. I don't care if he gets 1yr or 5yrs, as long as he serves at least a year. And my big wish is that he is never allowed back into the NFL. (by the fans, not the owners.)

I think they should throw the book at him. He deserves to be in the same situation that he put the poor dogs in.

Multi-millionaires don't go to jail.
Billionaire corporations don't allow their " investment" to go to jail.
