the scripture that you use the most when you feel attacked - I know we should have a different scripture depending on the type of temptation but I like to use one for most

Isaiah 54:17
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,"
declares the LORD.

the weapons of the devil will not win with the Lord on my side but I am also reminded that the weapons of the devil are continually made against me and I need to stay alert

Though an army besiege me my heart will not fear, though war break out against me even then Will I be confident, one thing I ask of the Lord, this is what i seek to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple." psalm 25

There are others that I have memorized for the purpose of protecting myself in the battle but this is the one that is on my heart today.

Thank you for asking.

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."

His Logos.

Ephesians 6:11-17
Put on the whole armour of Elohim, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of Elohim, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YHWH :

The sword of the Spirit is part of the whole armor of God:

Ephesians 6:10-19, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation,

and the***** sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:****

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,"

If you carefully observe each of the armor pieces you will also see they represent "putting on Christ".

We do all this so that we may be able to STAND!

2 Corinthians 10:4, "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)"

grrr!!! you stole mine! LOL. isaiah 54:17 is one of my favorites, but i have another one that i use just about as often as that:

''for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.'' 2 timothy 1:7 (nkjv)

i love this one, because it reminds me of what i already have, and what i'm already capable of. i don't need to ask God for strength or courage. He already gave me those things. it's a done deal. all i have to do is remind myself of that.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them; for the Lord thy God, He it is that does go with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you.

God will never leave me nor forsake me.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your coversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have; for He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

If God is for me, who can be against me.

Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
