Especially when you consider that we wouldn't need "saving" in the first place if he had simply CHOSEN NOT TO CREATE HELL TO BEGIN WITH!!!

What people like Primoa seem to be claiming is that Hell somehow exists outside of Joe Hovah's control -- which makes zero sense if you also claim he's the undisputed master and creator of Everything....

It quite quit basic. Jesus saved lives to coach that death isn't an enduring state and that there is a potential better than death. He did not shop his very own existence simply by fact his suitable existence became the only which became used as a ransom for the perfect existence that Eve and Adam gave up. Had Jesus not sacrifice his suitable existence those people who understand and have self assurance might have no wish simply by fact death is the wages of sin and Adam and Eve sinned (neglected the mark) while they have been inspired by skill of devil and did what Jah instructed them to not do. there is not any "hell" the assumption of hell is one which seeped into Christian perception after coming in touch with those dad gum heathen Greeks! heavily however, the assumption of an "eternal soul that lives forever is Greek philosophy. Please examine Ezekiel 18:4 & 20. while it mentions dies it skill die like lifeless die, not floating around and not employing a physique lifeless. in case you seek for in Genisis 2:7 you will examine the Bible point out that adam grew to alter right into a residing soul, not that he became givin a soul. that's like the various between being a cow and having a cow, guy! Please examine Matthew 27:40-one,40 two. that's not the 1st time area of that question has been asked

Jesus does save- it is us who choose to be saved or not. God is holy, and there has to be payment for sin- and what did Jesus come to earth to do? Die on the Cross for the whole world. It cost Him His life to give us the gift of salvation. Let me explain this in a simple way if I can- God loved the world so much that He wanted to make a way so that people can spend eternity with Him, however we sin and that separates us from God, Jesus hung on the cross and died for the whole world, as a gift of grace and salvation. How does a gift work? If someone comes up to you and offers you $100 gift, and you walk away and don't take it you are not $100 dollars richer are you? You have to reach out and accept the gift. Same with salvation- He offers this gift however if you refuse to accept it, then you don't receive it. Does that help?

Actually, no. Jesus doesn't send anyone to hell.

Jesus put it this way: "When God sent His son into the world, it wasn't to condemn the world, but to save it. Whoever believes (puts their trust) in the son shall not be condemned. Whoever does NOT believe (put their trust) in the son is condemned already ..." And why is this? because "ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But, "The wages of sin is death (eternal separation from God and all that is good."

In trying to convince people to NOT go to hell, He told them that hell is "outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the fire is never quenched, and the worm (ie the people there) will never die."

So, why do YOU want to go to hell? You don't have to do anything, because you're already heading in that direction.

Wouldn't you rather that Jesus forgive you for your sins so you wouldn't NEED to go that route?

No, no. Jesus doesn't send ANY body to hell. We personally choose hell when we sin, but Jesus is offering us a pardon because he suffered and died a cruel death on the cross to pay for our sins (crimes against God), so really, the ball is in your court now. You get to choose heaven (Jesus said "I am the door"), or hell. "Broad is the gate, and wide is the way to destruction, and many find it".

But God cries out, "Please choose Life, that you may live!" (Jesus said "I am Life.")

It really doesn't seem very logical on YOUR part to reject such a great offer of Life. But remember, the offer expires when you do.

Good question. God is comprised of three persons yet they are still One. There is God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. We cannot begin to comprehend how this is possible because we are not God. Yet the Holy Spirit bears witness to this and can give us some understanding. The answer to your question is yes. Jesus came as a Lamb but when He comes again it will be as a Lion to execute judgement. Right now we are under His grace and He knocks at the door of your heart to see if you will open up to Him.

Jesus said he didn't come to condemn, and his actions seem to support this. The woman caught in adultery was safe with him, as was the thief on the cross....

He did have harsh words, but they were mostly for the religious hypocrites, and the government leaders.

Perhaps the people you are irritated with do not represent their faith well, but that shouldn't stop you from identifying with the ideals that Jesus put forth.

Well, in a way you are right.... Jesus saves us from the wrath of His Father....

The "wrath of God" is the appointment for those who do not believe. You must understand the dreadfulness of sin before you can understand God's wrath against sin.... but that is another story....

Jesus is our advocate - the one who appears in heaven for us and, speaking in simple terms, pleads our cause before the Father, shows the Father His sacrifice, and thereby wins our acceptance to God.

god bless

Sweet Pea Jesus doesn't send anybody to hell nor does God the Father. See this is were you come into to play. You send your own self to hell by the very sin you commit. The wages of sin is death. The wages of a good doer and a believer is going to Heaven. God gives us a choice were we want to spend eternity. God Bless!

Jesus saves you from the consequence of your own sin, by removing both the guilt of sin, as well as the power that bad habits have over your psyche.

you should read the whole bible if you really wanna know the answer for your Q

we're suppose to go to hell, but because jesus come down to earth and die for us, we are given 2nd chance and we can choose if we wanna do good or bad

God doesnt wana force us to do what he want

so he gave freedom of choice to prove that he's fair

but, if you read bible,

every sin has consequence, God could forgive us, but we should face the consequences of what we did

and if we keep doing bad things when we know that it's not right, the consequence is HELL

if you wanna understand more, you should really read the whole bible, holy bible (for christians)
