I spend 1000 on 6 children and about 600 on supplies for them.

I will spend probably about $50 dollars. My kid is only 4 and starting preschool so I can get away with going cheap at Walmart. But when she gets older and has a job I will make her buy her own clothes. I'll get the other school supplies and that's it. They all want name brand stuff that's expensive...well not on my dollar! If they want it they can buy it themselves!

Her fall/winter clothes from last year don't fit, so she needs all new. I already started, and will continue until around Christmas, and will probably spend $200 total, in 6 months, for shoes, socks, chonies, clothes, and hair stuff. I love a good clearance sale. ;)

This year, we spent about $100 a piece, but we got stuff on clearance and on sale. $100 didn't go far at all, but it got them started! My daughter has started really taking care of her clothes so when she outgrows them, she gives them to me to sale on eBay so she can have extra money to spend on new clothes..it's a great way to recycle and save!

well since i am a young mom..i am 30 and my daughter is four...i tend to buy her the name brands..like the michael jordan sneakers..the babyphat clothes..roca wear clothes..but it finally hit me that i spend to much money on clothes and my daughter do not take care of them..if i give her brand new sneakers the same day she comes home with it dirty and her clothes too.so realizing that i decided that i would shop wisely..and so this summer i did not spend to much less than $80 on her..i hate cheap clothes but i know that there are some really cute cheap stuff that are very girly...but now that school is here again and she is starting a new school i hope she wears uniform so that way i dont have to spend to much money...but normally i would spend about $600 or more on my daughter .

I like to shop between second hand stores and buying organic/fair trade clothing. Lables aren't important (actually NO lable is important to me), but the way the Earth is treated to get this fabric, the way the farmers are treated and the chemical impact on the Earth.

I'm going to say about $50 for the summer season for one child. This isn't back to school clothing etc as you didn't specify.

100-150$ Winter clothes, socks, jackets, long sleeved shirts, jeans, pajamas, everything she grew out of last year needs to be replaced. I have a girl, so I love dressing her up!

I'll try to give a $100 allowance to each kid, but it may not be all at once and we certainly aren't going to the Gap or Hollister or anything that's overpriced and ridiculous.
