I have a computer with vista on it. I dont like vista, so i want to put xp on. But the only way to do that is to do a clean install. Which clears all of my drivers; including the one that lets me get on the internet to get all of them back. What to do?

I am assuming you want to remove Vista and re install XP and that you have the Original XP restore disk. When you install it, the drivers will be located on your hard drive. No need to go find them on the Web. I suggest you try www.support/Microsoft.com for complete instructions for re installing. You will find the site helpful. Although it doesn't answer all of the questions, it is the way to go. Be patient. Good luck.

Im guessing that you have dial-up internet since you need some sort of program to access it. Go to your ISP before you uninstall Vista and download the dialer then burn to a disk. When you reinstall XP just install the ISP software then go to the manufacturers websites for the drivers for your hardware.
