I'm looking for practising druids from the UK who would tell me here about the organizations they belong to. About their philosophy, goals, value system, origins, etc. I'm just curious. Mainly want to see the differences between the various organizations and have a general view of today's druidism. You can refer me to your official website but I want to read your own thoughts about the organization you belong to, as well. Thanks!

Okay, the bad news is that I don't plan to become a new age druid myself. I wanted to hear new age druids' opinion about themselves. So thanks for all the reference but that's not what I'm looking for.

The ancient Druids kept no written record and the Romans saw fit to completely wipe out their culture. All we have in modern times to recreate it are educated guesses. Good luck to you though.

Personally, I know very little about druid culture, but there are books out there that could help. Like 'The 21 Lessons of Merlyn. A study in Druid Magic & Lore.' By Douglas Monroe. I found this book while I was browsing a used book store and got it for my collection of occult books. It attempts to impart the wisdom of the druids by telling stories about Merlyn teaching Aurthor and imparting some sort of lesson with each story. Good luck.

Try going to witchvox.com. They have an area where modern pagans can list themselves and their country with their emails. They can tell you more than what you'll find here.

However, please keep in mind that the ancient Druids were almost completely wiped off the face of the earth and most of the information that remains of them are simply legends.

I am not in the UK, http://www.druidry.org is a very good sight to explore along with http://www.wildideas.net/cathbad/druid.html
and http://www.bandarach.org/Chats.htm
the best way to find Druids from other countries would be in the chat room.
