It is totally subjective and as far from scientific as you can get. There are a diverse bunch of views here.♥ It depends on how the question is worded and the time of day. I have noticed fluctuation in the percent of answers from either group. your term is so general. What is Religious? How do I grade myself on if I fall into either of the categories you gave.
♦○♦Some people seem full of faith as they answer while others show a more jaded or analytical bent. I like the variety myself. I am an Xcatholic. sometimes mystic sometimes atheist.○

Just look at the questions. If the majority of the questions have poor grammar, or show an inherent lack of critical thinking, then the religious folks will be in the majority.
If it's the opposite, that would be the atheists.
I do this all the time. A quick skim of the answer topics can give you an overall view of who is more active that day.

There are more trolls here than Atheists and Christians combined, unless of course that Atheists are admitting some of those really off the wall questions come from high IQ Atheists who are supposed all be Einsteins.

1) Ask a religiously charged question.
2) Divide the pro religious responses by 2.
3) Add pi.
4) Multiply the non religious responses by the religious responses and add 3.
5) Divide the number by the square root of 200,484,777 and there you go! Simple as that.

This is like the world religion changing section. Many weak believers become agnostic, and some agnostics goto atheism. I think I've changed beliefs back and forth a few times.

Just ask a religious or atheistic question (it helps if your question is antagonizing)

My rule of thumb is to count "atheist" spellings against "athiest" or other alternative spellings. Been reliable so far.
