I'm doing something similar. I have A LOT of niece's that are 6-11, and I couldnt make all of them my flower girls. So I'm doing the next best thing... turning them into my bridesmaids. The best thing about it is, they love any dress that you put on them. No complaining out of them.

Traditionally, the role of choice for the under-10 crowd is flower girl and ring bearer. I've seen weddings with a flock of flower girls and ring bearers, but never a herd of miniature bridesmaids and groomsmen. If that's what you want to do, go for it. Just remember that the under-10 kids may have a hard time standing still at the front of the reception (especially if you have a long ceremony). Have seats ready for them if they need to discreetly take a seat.

Are these kids your family members?
Regardless, they are called "junior" brides maids at that age, and are basically a glorified flower girl, but I guess you can make that your enitre wedding party if you would like. Never heard of young boys being groomsmen though.
If these kids are not family, I wouldn't have them in the wedding though. That is a little weird to have that many unrelated kids in a wedding party.

Since youre asking, Ill be honest. I think its strange. Bridesmaids and groomsmen stand up and support you as trusted friends and close family. Children cant grasp that, nor should they. Make the children flower girls and ring bearers and program hand-outers! The young bride & groom is especially disturbing.

It's your wedding but keep in mind that kids can be hard to control so unless you have a very relaxed attitude and don't mind a chaotic wedding ceremony I suggest getting adults except for the ring bearer and flower girl both of which are traditionally kids.

I think it's adorable... Just make sure to refer to them as "junior bridesmaids and junior groomsmen" so not to confuse with the flower girl/ring bearer.

i agree with the first person, if it makes you happy , it doesn't matter. i think it's cute. having 5 junior braides maids & 5 junior bestmen is nice. i was a junior bridesmaid when i was around 11. then having two around you ageis good too. make sure you dont make any like 5 or under though, they might have a bad attn. span or have a tantrum.

April isn't long, so i could recommend you e book venues - tie up your church/venue with the reception, in case you have not have been given lots money, get married later in the day and carry it rapidly directly to night, then you definately do not could desire to pay for 2 nutrition. deliver out invites as quickly as you have have been on condition that narrowed down. then you definately could desire to ask for help, you will choose transport to venue/reception, bridesmaid clothing, terrific guy/usher clothing? This certainly relies upon on money, you will be able to desire to ask them to positioned on something smart of their own in case you're doing it on the cheap yet nonetheless choose bridesmaids. in case you sense kin will conflict, have a buffet then they could sit down the place they like and you don't get the popular table seating problems. Are you getting somebody to do your hair and makeup? you will be able to desire to variety vegetation in case you're having any and of direction, your gown. Are you having a suitable/casual wedding ceremony? Your venue will help you to devise an incredibly formal wedding ceremony, they could have accomplished it earlier. Congratulations on your engagement and could you wait for an prolonged and satisfied marriage. x
