one of my close friends told me that while he was shaving underarm hair, he found something unfamiliar and as he remembers, it was there for several months now.. it looks like a small hair that is stuck underneath the outer skin..curious, he pressed the sides of that spot and a sticky fluid came out and few blood drops followed.. what is it? please take the question seriously...

It is best that your friend go to a doctor immediately. A dermatologist can take proper history of the lesion and can diagnose the problem through physical examination. The dermatologist can prescribe proper treatment for the lesion.

I would say that it is an ingrown hair, very common. Folliculitis ( ingrown hair ). He can try warm putting warm compresses to the area or, while showering, let the warm water run over the area. The warmth will open up the hair follicle and allow the hair to come to the surface. It can be easily removed with a pair of tweezers ( depending on how deep the ingrown hair is). If this doesn't help or becomes worse, then he can just make an appt. with his regular Doc. I hope that this helps.

That sticky fluid is white corpuscles. If only a few drops of blood came out, there should be nothing to worry about. It could be ingrown hair.

The best treatment in the elimination of acne is to clean the skin by some medicated cleansers.
A cleanser removes the sweat, make-up, accumulated oil and dirt on the surface of the skin.
These cleansers makes easy for the topical acne treatments to absorb in the skin and too much use of these cleansers can result into irritated dry skin. So, these acne cleansers should be applied only once and twice daily.
Vigorous washing and scrubbing the skin can make the acne worse.

Hi..
Sounds to me like ingrown hair...
caused by shaving?... dap a bit of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip on that area, don't mess with it too much...
it should go away soon..
