i am because we drove for hours across the border to get there and now they are trying to run it..... i couldnt stay one more day in a wet wet tent and the others watned to leave i wanted to stay...

for those telling me i am not a true nascar fan for leaving. kiss my a#$ you dont know me and you also have no idea what we went though, we would have stayed however the "true fans" we were with were the ones driving therefore we had no choice but to go with them

For me, I am hoping that they race today. If they dont get it in today or tomorrow it will wreck the whole chase, because they wont be able to make it up until after Thanksgiving. Miami should be the last race not Michigan. It really is not NASCARS fault that you had to go home or that it rained. Blame mother nature. And if you left you are not TRUE NASCAR fans. You could have went to a motel room, it would have been dry there.

I would rather not see this race in the chase. Richmond is the cutoff for the chase, and a great night race. The chase ends in Homestead. If Michigan moves to the end, the chase is changed.

The vendors and people around MIS might hope for bad weather so that they get another week of massive amounts of people coming in at a later date. I don't get why SO many people came all the way for the race knowing that statistically it rains around the August race at MIS almost every year and did NOT bring rain gear. I work at a Meijer near MIS and we sold out of rain ponchos and rains suits and had about five umbrellas left in the whole store.
