Eg: "merciful" Grace is not merciless law
Eg: "perfect" Love is not imperfect love + fear
Eg: I will never forsake thee isn't I will forsake you

Law: I will forsake you: Jeremiah 23:39
Grace: I will not forsake: Hebrews 13:5
David, in plural Psalms: "forsaken"
Jesus, via plural Gods: "forsaken"
Perhaps Grace is not Law vs Law.
Perhaps Winner isn't Loser vs Loser.
Perhaps PTSD ppl feel "forsaken",
by GWB's rod of iron rule of law law,
after tasting how "wretched" war is.

I don't believe GWB is perfect. No human is.
Why is it you try to compare people with God?
People were born ignorant, that is one reason why they make war and some forget about (forsake), or just don't want to believe, in God.
If I should believe in God's perfectness, I, as an ignorant creation of God, need to be shown his love, not just to read about it. He allows, and even causes, innocent people to die in extreme pain, just to prove that he is better than the "fallen one". Is that perfect love?
He is not ignorant. He is perfectly: merciless, jealous, vengeful, wrathful, and proud. If He kills someone, it's Divine Will. If we kill someone, it's pure evil. Some parent He turned out to be. It says so in many religious books, most notably for me, the Bible. Jesus died "for us". He also broke every rule of his Father, country and led people to do the same, in the name of His "perfect love". There have been thousands of martyrs in our history. Many, if not all, died for God (and Jesus).
So there was historical reciprocation there. We are currently being ignored (forsaken) by God, and by Jesus.
It would really be nice if God would show his Grace a bit more often, like, every time someone prays to him.
That would help a great deal, and then when we pray for an end to GWB's reign, it would get done instead of ignored, and you wouldn't have this problem.

Grace is a partisipation in God's divine nature, He gives us grace but we must cooperate with it. Such as, being kind, generous, patient, rather than being rude, selfish, and short tempered.

Divine wrath is not "I respectfully disagree with your lifestyle, but my love and appreciation for you as a person dictates that I accept your choice"
