Considering our country is 200+ years old and needs to show some dynamicism, I think that children born here are granted automatic citizenship ONLY if both parents are US Citizens. I really think this makes a lot more sense than having illegal aliens come here, have a child, and claim its a US citizen.

The citizenship right is in the US Constitution. The Constitution would have to be amended to change the law. That would be a monumental task: the House has to approve, the Senate has to approve, the president has to approve, 3/4 of the states have to approve. It won't even get started.
It would be easier to keep illegals out of the country. In that way, children of illegals won't be born here.
