Integrity.
A person who is honest with themselves and others about who they are. A person whom you can trust because you know their character.
Fun.
A person I enjoy being with and they enjoy being with me. Life can seem pretty boring if you can't have fun. Best to have a partner with some similar interests so you can enjoy each other's company in a variety of activities.
Stable.
I don't want to have a long term relationship with someone who NEEDS me too much. I don't want to be the fix for old relationship problems. They should have dealt with life before I came along and have the ability to deal with it after I am gone. Afterall if we are going to have children, I want my wife to be a solid whole person for my children, should I die. I wouldn't want her to be a person who would go from relationship to relationship looking for a fix while dragging the kids along. Sure I would want her to miss me. I wouldn't mind if she got into another relationship with a man who would be good to her and our children. I just wouldn't want her to fall apart and seek the fix in unhealthy ways. The best way to know about this is to see how they have handled past relationships I want a wife who can stand on her own two feet, but prefers to stand beside me.
Genetics
Are her parents living? What kind of health issues are they dealing with? This may sound cruel or shallow, but remember I want to have children with her. Her family genetics will play an important role in our children's lives. If everyone in her family develops some horrible disease in their 40's and dies. I might want to read up on it before we decide to have children.
Hey those are just some thoughts. I'm lucky enough to be married to a woman who fulfills all of that and so much more. I didn't know all of that when we met and fell in love, but in some ways I sensed it, and it made me love her more. Lucky for me about the family health thing, because if it had been different, I don't know that I would have done anything differently. When you are in love sometimes very important things don't seem all that important.

My divorce taught me one simple lesson.
Life is tooooooooooooo short.
I am in a relationship right now, but am not planning years down the road. Live and be conscious of the present. What can you do to improve yourself, improve your friendships, improve your attitude.
The moment a woman puts pressure on me to say "where this is going" it is time to have the talk.

I'm a guy, and here's what I look for in a girl:
1. A pretty face (75% of first impression, 10% of overall)
2. A nice a** (15% of first impression, 10% of overall)
3. Nice rest of body (5% of first impression, 5% of overall)
4. A great personality (5% of first impression, 75% of overall)
Notice there are two categories: first impression (short run) and overall (long run).
Obviously, this is just an approximation I came up with. Personality includes: non-smoker, doesn’t use drugs, caring, honest, fun-loving, intelligent, and down-to-earth
