jesus never existed

historians made no mention of him at all

all references to this imaginary man, in religious fairytale books, were based on hearsay and not till over 70 years after he apparently died

No. Your friend is engaging in a personal fantasy to justify her own beliefs. There is nothing scriptural about this. Even sources outside the Bible never mention this. Even those sects that gave Jesus a carnal nature, may have said he was married, but never that he was gay.
