Double click on "My Computer" and you will see how many drives you have. C is normally where your current OS is. One or two (depending on whether you have one or two CD drives) will show a CD logo, you should have at least one (not your floppy) - maybe two more drives. Click on each one and see what is on that partition. One may be used to store your data and the other might have a copy of your OS (look for a WinXP directory) that is your recovery partition.

Hi:
Start menu > settings > control panel > administrative tools > computer management > storage > disk managment local
Under here it should be listed.
Usual there is a short key: f10 press this at startup of your computer and it goes into the recovery partition.

it may not be F10 as someone else as told you it may be any F NUMBER look in the manual or if you dont have it google for information for the correct Fnumber to press or ask the question on here giving the make and model of your computer

7mb is not enough to contain any kind of recovery program.
Format away....
If it is a problem though that your attempting to kill with a complete format try typing on the dos prompt chkdsk/ r

Try downloading Paragon partition manager it will tell you exactly what you have and you can create another partition if you have not a second one
