Obviously, the numbers are still readable, but would the bar for scanning purposes be damaged by being in soap/water?

lol (sorry, but it is kinda funny)

The store clerks will be able to manually type the numbers in.

You might contact the card creditors and explain that you damaged your cards and request replacements.
If the ending date on the cards is fairly close, you might just wait for them to automatically send you updated cards.

maybe only 1 way to find out next time u go shoping take money wid u and the card u bought stuff use the card if it worked it worked if it didnt say oh im sorry and pay with the money but u can use it in internet cuz the numbers are there..hope i helped :)

They will work fine. Mine have been through the washer, in a pool, left on a hot dashboard and melted/warped, and other bad things... and they always still work.

I even microwaved one... just to see what would happen... and it was fine.

credit cards need their magnetic bar intact. i doubt if it will work. the only way to chk is to swipe it thru a machine at a merchant
