CANCER is not just one disease, but a large group of almost one hundred diseases. Its two main characteristics are uncontrolled growth of the cells in the human body and the ability of these cells to migrate from the original site and spread to distant sites. If the spread is not controlled, cancer can result in death.Cancer can attack anyone. Cancer is deadly because it is deadly disease.

Despite the fact there are several hundred different types of cancer, it is still possible to list certain general characteristics. Cancer is a cellular disorder, and so these general characteristics pertain to cancer cells.

First, cancer cells experience uncontrolled and disorganized growth. Normal cells only divide about 50 (fifty) times before they die, but cancer cells enter the cycle of dividing and reproducing, over and over again and never differentiate. In tissue cultures raised in labs, cancer cells lack the contact inhibition exhibited by normal healthy cells. This means, normal healthy cells stop reproducing when they contact each other, or the sides of a culture bowl. Normal cells in a tissue culture grow in only one layer because they adhere to the glass bowl and stop dividing once they make contact with their neighbors. Cancer cells have lost all restraint and grow in multiple layers, most likely because of cell surface changes. In the body, a cancer cell divides to form a growth, or tumor, that invades and destroys neighboring healthy tissue. This new growth, termed neoplasia, is made up of cells that are disorganized, a condition termed anaplasia. The cells are disorganized because they don't differentiate into the tissue of the organ and they never fulfill the function of the organ. To support their growth, cancer cells release a growth factor that causes neighboring blood vessels to branch into the cancer tissue. This phenomenon has been termed vascularization, and some modes of treatment are aimed at preventing vascularization from occurring.
Second, Cancer cells detach from the tumour and spread around the body. To accomplish this, the cells often must make their way across a basement membrane and into a blood vessel or lymphatic vessel. It's been discovered that cancer cells have receptors that allow them to adhere to basement membranes; they also produce proteolytic enzymes that egrade the membrane and allow them to invade the underlying tissues. Cancer cells also tend to be motile. This may be associated with a disorganized internal cytoskeleton and their lack of intact micro filament bundle After traveling through the blood or lymph system, cancer cells start new tumor elsewhere in the body. This process is called metastasis.

If the original tumor is found before metastasis has occurred, the chances of sure are greatly increased. This is the rationale for early detection of cancer. In fact, sometimes a person isn't even considered to have cancer unless metastasis has occurred. Benign tuners are those that remain in one place; malignant tumors are those that metastasize. -

Everyone has cancerous cells. Cancer cells are normal cells that have mutated and are irregular and grow very fast. Fortunately for most of us, our immune systems recognizes these "intruders" or "abnormal cells" and destroys them. Sometimes our immune system doesn't recognize them or destroy them. THAT is when it becomes a problem. If our immune system doesn't destroy these cells, they continue to mutate and grow uncontrollably. Since these cells are with our normal cells, they also have access to the oxygen our blood stream carries, and are able to "feed" and grow. Once they reach a certain point, they start using more nutrients than our regular cells, and those cells die. The cancer, if in our lungs, interferes with our ability to absorb oxygen and so our cells slowly starve (because of the tumor, or mass of cancer cells). In our brain, they can slowly crush our brain and you can imagine the damage that would do. In our heart, liver, reproductive organs, etc....no matter where the mass may be found, it has negative and damaging effects. I've lost 2 grandmothers to cancer, because the cancer cells interfered with the normal cells and overtook them, so they slowly lost their health. And as your health goes, your immune system weakens, allowing the cancer cells to grow more and for you to get sick from other things. One grandmother had bone cancer, and she got weaker and weaker. Her immune system was compromised, and she got pneumonia 3 times in a couple months (which is what actually killed her).

This is from Steven M. Hall, M.D. who on January 7, 1997 reported the following results: "A 75 y/o male with metastatic prostate cancer, most recent PSA of 55, I added ... Noni & History

Thousands of years ago, ancestors of the Polynesian people migrated from the South East Asia, to the Pacific islands which include Hawaii and the Tahiti island. Developed in the late 1930's by the renowned oncologist, the late Dr. Manuel D. Navarro [his son, also an M.D., currently does the test], the test detects the presence of HCG in urine. It indicates the presence of cancer cells even before signs or symptoms develop. Dr. Navarro found HCG to be elevated in all types of cancers.

The test is based on a theory proposed by Dr. Howard Beard and other researchers who contend that cancer is related to a misplaced trophoblast cell that becomes malignant in a manner similar to pregnancy in that they both secrete HCG. As a consequence, a measure of the amount of HCG found in the blood or urine is also a measure of the degree of malignancy. The higher the number, the greater the severity of the cancer.

Urine, as opposed to blood or serum, is the preferred specimen for the test. In 1980, Papapetrou and co-authors reported the correctness of the urine specimen to be used in HCG Immunoassay. In 32 proven cancer cases, the immunoassay test gave 31 positive results using urine while only 12 positive results were reported using blood. HCG has been found to undergo glycosylation in the liver as it travels in the hepatic circulation. Thus, the HCG molecule cannot be detected. The molecule does not undergo this process in the kidney and therefore the molecule remains intact in the urine.

The test detects the presence of brain cancer as early as 29 months before symptoms appear; 27 months for fibrosarcoma of the abdomen; 24 months for skin cancer; 12 months for cancer of the bones (metastasis from breast cancer extirpated 2 years earlier).

Currently, many cancer patients take advantage of the diagnostic accuracy of this test as an indicator of the effectiveness of their specific mode of therapy. Directions for Urine Sample Preparation

(1) From an early morning urine, take 50 cc (1.7 oz.) and add 200 cc (7 oz.) of acetone (can be purchased from hardware store or pharmacy) and 5 cc (.2 oz) of alcohol, either rubbing [alcohol] or ethyl [alcohol]. Stir and mix well.

(2) Let it stand in the refrigerator for 2 hours until sediment is formed. Throw off about half of the urine-acetone mixture without losing any sediment. Filter the remainder through a coffee filter or laboratory filter paper.

(3) When filtration is over, dry the filter with its sediment. Fold and wrap in aluminum foil. Send by FedEx (First Class mail takes from 5 weeks to forever; Global Priority Mail takes 10-12 days) to the Navarro Medical Clinic (address listed above) including a Xerox copy of the money order or cashier's check with the patient's name, address, sex, age and a brief clinical history and/or diagnosis.
