Sleep apnea. You're probably breathing through your mouth. And that causes a number of problems. Do you experience any of the following:
Associated features may include:
loud snoring
morning headaches
unrefreshing sleep
a dry mouth upon awakening
chest retraction during sleep in young children (chest pulls in)
high blood pressure
overweight
irritability
change in personality
depression
difficulty concentrating
excessive perspiring during sleep
heartburn
reduced libido
insomnia
frequent nocturnal urination (nocturia)
restless sleep
nocturnal snorting, gasping, choking (may wake self up)
rapid weight gain
confusion upon awakening
You may not have all these symptoms. It's best to have someone look in on you after you fall asleep. And have a thermometer handy to check your temperature before sleep and after you wake up. Also have a thermometer that takes the temp. of the room, so you can do a comparison of the difference between the room temperature and your body temp.
As some of the other comments suggested, exercising does help. Running, and anything that increases lung capacity and function will create better airflow and may help keep your nasal pasages open. Also you have to look if what I'm suggesting here does apply, you'll need to address the cause of your apnea could be just allergies...and ear nose and throat clinic would help.

You know it's really weird. I USED to have the saem thing. I could be in shorts and a tee and put the fan on and the ac on 60 and still be hot at night. My feet especially. Then I had brain surgery and from that day I on, I get cold indoors very easily.
Someone once told me if you increase your exercising, that hot feeling will go away. NOt sure if thats true, but thats what I heard.
Good Luck and sorry, I know how you feel.

Open your door and your window, so that the heat can let out. The only thing the fan does is recycle the air, you need to filter it with the air from outside, and let it out through the door.

drink cold water, go to bed and dump yr self fully relaxed. listen light music. Open yr window/doors if AC is not running.
In case AC is running- change the filter or consult the service provider.

That only shows that you are a big fan of Paris Hilton. Since you can't get enough of her, the best thing to do is to say, "That's Hot !!!"
