My friends, I carry a huge burden for those who don't believe in hell. My heart really aches for you friend.
So many of you are flippant about hell and what it is. Dear, dear person, I BEG you to research it. The rest of your life depends on it.
I really dont want to come across as a "hell and damnation" preacher, but my heart is really sore with a deep ache for those who believe that hell is non existent, or believe it to be a place of fun.
If you land up there, you will not have time to chat to any human as you will be too busy being tormented by demons. Do you enjoy light and fresh breezes and nature? You wont have any of that there. It is dark and very hot. It is not just a fire my friend, there are many levels, but every level is terrible.
Please PLEASE find out for yourself so that you will not go there dear person. Please.
Jesus loves you and does not want you to end up there for eternity.
May He lead you and guide you into all truth.
With love.

What would it take for you to believe? Why do you think I am desperate for you to believe? Why do you think I spend time on this site? To argue with you? No!! I am here simply because I care.
Many people have gone there, and one of them (Bill Wiese) is a guy Jesus took there to experience it.
The Bible tells of a story of a man who refused to believe and when he died, he went there. He begged for someone to be sent to his family to tell them of it, but he was told that even if that was done, the people would not believe.
If you want details, please email me at ccc4jesus@yahoo.com. Please PLEASE dont take the chance of being wrong, I BEG you.

I did research it. In Hebrew and Greek it's the grave. The imagery of a fiery hell didn't come about till later... The imagery in the Bible of a fiery hell is symbolic of those who do certain things which causes them to constantly feel guilty... In other words, they burn in their souls because of the guilt. This is all explained in the Old Test and a simple study on the word and how it's used in Hebrew will pretty much back this up.
I am flippant about it, because I see so many who claim they will go to Heaven, that (because of their attituded) Hell is looking like the better place to be. Why would anyone want to go to Heaven with a bunch of Self-Righteous arrogant egotists who have done nothing but portrayed a sadistic God? It's very easy to be flippant about it when those are your only 2 choices.
I'll be sitting next to Ghandi on the Brimstone Bleachers.

Why are you flippant about logic?
Who frightened you and at what age?
I have researched it. The original hell was a very cold place. It wasn't until Dante came along with his "Divine Comedy" that people embraced the awful notions of hell so popular today.
Don't worry about coming across as a preacher. You simply appear to be a poor pitiful brainwashed chicken.
As far as the "torment by demons" goes, ...how educated are these demons? My biggest torment is dealing with uneducated fear mongers. At least demons could carry on an more interesting conversation.

I have known and loved God all my life but if I thought that He was capable of creating such a place for any reason then I would not want to know Him. I wouldn't do it to anyone so why should I believe that God would, when He is so much more than I could ever be? My heart actually aches for you, that you carry the burden of believing that such a place might await you if you should "fall from grace"
My path is different from yours but, believe me, it will take me home without the constant struggle that you seem to embrace.
I am truly sorry that you see God as you describe Him to me and to others.

"Jesus loves you and does not want you to end up there for eternity."
The bible disagrees with you there.
Matthew 13:11-15
Jesus explains why he speaks in parables. No, parables are not simple stories that people can relate to so they learn lessons. It's to confuse people, so they don't get the message of Jesus and aren't saved.
Look, for instance, at the parable of the seeds in Mark 4. He tells the parable to the crowd, but then only explains it to his disciples when everyone else has gone
so that, " 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding;otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"
Mark 4:12 (NIV)
JESUS SPEAKS IN PARABLES TO CONFUSE PEOPLE SO THEY DON'T GET SAVED. There, how plain is that. It says it right there in the Bible. Saying "Jesus wants everyone to be saved" goes against the Bible.
------------
Bill Wiese had a vision. You only give this vision any merit because it matches what you already believe. If it had been a vision of 23 minutes in Hades, you would dismiss it as garbage, much like I dismiss Mr Wiese's experience.

Your religion is one of many. To other religions, since you aren't a believer in their good gods or godessess, you are going to their religion's hell. This is how they see you, and how you see us.
Thank you for the concern, but do not worry. You are in one of thousands of religions, imagine what their gods say about you-- the road goes both ways. Imagine what the older religions think about you, they must feel the same.
Personally, I have my spirits, but I don't bow to them and they do not have a hell to send me to. They are my guides and equals-- not creatures that would send me to hell for something simple as nonbelief. I won't claim to have proof, as no living being has proof and that's why it's called "faith".
Again, thank you, but don't worry. If your God exists, I'm sure He's kind enough to forgive something we nonbelievers cannot force to change.
Peace.

I appreciate your heart felt concern, and respect your sincerity and your compassion, but cannot agree with you. I believe that hell is a myth the same as heaven and the whole concept of a god. I don't mean this to be an insulting rebuke to you or to your faith. I simply find the concept of religion as a whole to be unrealistic, simplistic and a waste of time and money.

i'm sorry that you worry so much about fantastical punishments. i'm not being flippant, i really don't believe that there's anything to it. in some ways i prefer the other sort of believer to your type - the one who seems to get off on telling us what horrible tortures await. but really there's no need for any of that. hell is a fantasy cooked up by the likes of tribal witchdoctors.

Well, as I guess if you believe in the crazy hell myth, then its good that you at least feel concern for people you believe are going there...other religionists just salivate with a "you will see" attitude.
I assure you, the myth of hell ranks among the greatest stupidities ever defecated upon humanity.

not being flippant. i just don't believe in hell.
besides i thought hell was reserved for satan and his followers? you know the other angels that were cast out with him? not people. why would god send his "children" to hell?
fear is not a good reason to choose a religion.
bright blessings to you

If this wasn't so sad it would be hilarious. This is not the Dark Ages you know. This is the 21st Century. People have grown out of such primitive superstitions.
