Coerce a child? That is a horrible thought. Why would anyone try to do such a thing? You can't honestly believe that is teaching that child LOVE. You would be better off just teaching him how to treat others like crap.... since you or whomever is trying to coerce a child to "love".

Simply amazing....... I guess people can't find another way to teach their children love. And we have to wonder why we have children killing each other on the streets and in the schools????

Love cannot not be forced either by Spirit or flesh.
Love is a choice that one gives freely if they chose too.
God wants everyone to love Him on their own. He does not want anyone to force anyone to love Him.
If a parent wants a child to love God, get to church and take the child along. Get the child into Sunday School and let them learn who God is, what His purpose is for everyones life. The more the child learns about God, he will eventually love God on his own. Association with other children who go to church helps greatly.

No !!! Definitely not. Why would you want to coerce any one into "religion" for? It is God's prerogative to choose who He wants (Called the "elect") see: John, chapter 6, verse 44.
God is love and love gives you a choice. God saves us ... we do not save God !

Coercion doesn't isn't love! It also leads to resentment and rebellion. Not even God coerces people to follow him... I don't see why we need to try on his behalf, if he himself doesn't find t necessary :) If your child sees and experiences the true, awesome character and persona of God as he is revealed in the bible, how could they NOT love Him? Cheers :)

Nothing. You cannot force belief. To try is an extreme wrong. Education not coercion, my friend. Make the education as broad as possible, and get a person with a truly deep understanding, then let them take up their faith.

Keep Faith All and Goddess Bless.

A child would only say that if he had heard that from the people around him and could not develop a concept of religion on his own.

I was a child who was seeking God. He answered my prayers! He showed me who He was! You do not have to force a child to accept the love of God. He or she will gravitate to the Lord if they are taught the truth about Him...that He is love!
The Lord draws out those to Him whose hearts are turned to Him!

You do not force anyone to do anything. You just tell them the truth and let them mature to find it on their own. If you take them to church, then they will learn more about Jesus and God, it is a very positive thing to know that God loves you. There are many children who are abused, without parents or one parent, and would love to go to church. Little children love Children's Church, where they sing songs, and learn more about the one who loves them and watches over them. When they are all alone and scared, they know that there is someone who is there to love them and cares about them. It is a very positive thing.Try it sometime. If they do not want to go to church, never force them to do that, or they will reject it all theri life. It happened to my father, and I am so happy that my mother took us.
