Nahh....seems the crowd is getting larger every year. *grin*

However, even a review of Proverbs would be a great place to start. Or Gospel according to John. Maybe try Psalms.

Perhaps the Sermon on the Mount...and wonder.

I guess Maxim, GQ, Cosmopolitan, National Geographic are more profound for others.

Yes , I have. I am grateful ,because after that I am no longer a Christian. That book is horrific, in particular the old testament.
I am not an atheist , I just do not believe in the biblical God, or that God sent any messengers, or that he-she-it inspired any books. An all powerful and just God, if he-she-it wanted to get the message across ,could have spoken to each one of us without using unreliable SHEEP HERDERS.

to start of, I don't believe in god. But I wanted to read the damn thing, just to feed my knowledge and to better argue about that topic.
So I started to read the bible. But at those pages after the genesis, how god created the word, the bible starts to talk about who had children with who and the names of those children, and for pages I just read tons if names, untill I got bored. But I did not wanted to skip anything (would be like cheating, hehe), so I put it aside and never open it again.

Well, I have read many chapters on random basis, tough.
The interesting things like murder and rapes and such....you know, to be able to argue something, i.e. how good god is, so I preferable read all the bloody chapters.

There are still some but we don't know where they are at, who have never heard or read the Bible. But we know that when that time comes that everyone on the earth has, Christ will surely come back for God's people.
Keep praying friend that you continue to read your Bible. You're not the only one who hasn't. Bet lots of other Christians haven't read their Bibles too.

I have, but lots of people haven't. If you're at all interested, go to the New Testament, and start with the Gospel of John.

I read it many times, especially the new testament, but we were taught it in school. I still read it some, but usually just listen to radio preachers, to get all points of view! :)
