The bible DOES say to not eat pork (swine Lev:11) but people eat pork all the time. The bible DOES say to worship on the seventh day (Ex:4) but Christians worship on the first day instead(the bible doesn't say to worship on the first day anywhere in it's texts). There are lots of things the bible DOES say that people don't abide by so why would they abide by that? People use the bible to do and justify anything they want to do. Anything they find offensive they find something in the bible to support is but ignore where the bible tells them to love they neighbor. To not judge others less they be judged. People who always quote the bible seem to be the ones who need to read it the most instead of preaching it. They will do what they want to do then find something in the bible that makes it all right.

The way I see it no matter what the bible says you are either born a homosexual or you are born heterosexul. Homosexuality is not something you choose to be its something your born as why would a person choose to be gay to be unpopular that makes no sense.

The key word here is if and the bible does not say it and I do not intend to play what if games. I would not because while I admire the beauty of other women they don't turn me on

I suppose I'm a sinner by nature... so I might have to start sleeping with women!

I don't believe in God, but if he were real, creating homosexuals is a mean joke. It's hard being queer in a society that isn't. I'm not interested in a girlfriend, and can't bring myself to get a boyfriend. I tend to just be a hermit and isolate myself from the world.

No because I am a heterosexual and I can't see how I could "change" that.
As I understand it, a homosexual doesn't choose to be one, so they can't change it.

Heterosexuality outside of marriage is wrong. It is wrong to have sex outside of the marriage, so being heterosexual is not wrong, just the way you practice it. It is not wrong for someone to find someone of the same sex attractive, their sin is when they have sex with someone of the same sex. I would agree that the church should be just as strict for fornicators and adulterers as practicing homosexuals. It is all a sin. Still, the church is to love these people, no matter their sin and tell them of the truth of Jesus Christ instead of condemning them.

It never ceases to amaze me that no matter what the question is on R&S, if homosexuality is mentioned, it's a free pass for some to insult and revile gay people! And then these same people are going to look at us with a straight face and tell us how "loving" they are and wonder why on earth we don't believe them.

that is a very interesting question, of corse everyone will say no, but i think if it were to happen there may well be a few people who would take to it as alot of people follow things purely cause the bible tells them to!

I'll start choosing homosexuality right away. I just need to figure out how to choose to find men sexually attractive. That seems to be the barrier for me. Needs more work.
