Now a days, charity is organized by banks and other institutions...will the fruits/donations reaching to intended sections like orphanages, poorer etc.,

If you are donating perishable food, you should go directly to the food bank in your area with your donation. See the link below

If you are donating money, send it directly to the organization you want to help. Your local (not national) United Way and Red Cross still use most of the money for the charities they supply. Do not send the money to the national organization, because it will not get to the people you want to help.

The Salvation Army and Goodwill use all their local donations to help the poor as well.

When you buy things at Target, and other department stores that have a charity division, it does go to help the poor, but you have no choice or say in where it goes.
