I would say the environment one grows up in definitely influences ones decision making process.

For example Teens - teens need to make a right decision regardless of the others making wrong decisions and sometimes they do succumb to peer pressure. Other times not.

As grown ups (that's us ;)) we should definitely think twice and even thrice before deciding something but we too often get influence by our world view or shall I say the world system.

The way I see it it's either a Christian world view or not. And yeah to the former!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bottom line: It is by choice but as another up there said, our environments & people around us DO influence our thinking. Hopefully for the better.

Disagree...children who are raised by wolves/dogs act like dogs and they don't possess the ability to choose to act differently. This is an example of how environment has a huge effect on the human behavior.

Disagree.

People's decisions are influence by their environment. For example, you question is a decision and their is no choice about its content.

eh... I don't think the two choices are mutually exclusive.
People are a product of their decisions, influenced by their environment.
The decisions people make are a product of brain function, which is a product of genes, birth and randomness, the specifics of which said person had no choice.

The world is not black and white like that. They go hand in hand. You can say environment or genetics will also play a part in the decissions you make. More power to you if you realize that though.

Not necessarily, and not totally. Your environment (including the culture of the environment), resources and circumstances limit and define the options and alternatives which are available to you, when making your decisions.

I think that you might find it interesting to learn about 'complex systems' and 'phase space'.

Their own decisions mostly. Mostly. Enviroment plays a role but you have poeple from the same city tothe same block to the same house been brought up the same and it somes down to choice.

It sounds like you are asking us to write your philosophy class assignment lol.

People definitely have choices, but their environments constrain the choices they can make. In that sense, we are a product of both our choices and our environment.
