Am I a better parent then the Christian God?

Question

-No matter how bad my children are, I would always give them as much time as they need to perfect themselves.
-I would never dream of burning them much less forever.
-I'm also pretty sure I could come up with a better plan to populate the world than Adam and Eve's children having to commit incest.
-I also will never require a blood sacrifice to make everything okay...like the Christian God needed with Christ's blood.

-It's to bad the Christian God Can't be a better parent....But then again...No God like the cruel Christian God could ever excist....except in strange minds!

Let me tell you the Christians believe in a very sick cult.
In the old testament their God used to require BURNT offerings, they pleased him, he liked animal sacrifices and their blood. In the new testament the torture and blood of Christ is elevated for some reason. IT IS ALL SICK!
I still ponder why an all loving and powerful God would require blood to forgive? It is sickening.

It is unfortunate for your children that you acknowledge the existence of a Christian god, or any god, for that matter. Apart from this basic flaw in your philosophy, you are a fine parent. At least you think, and that puts you clear of the sheep. I'm sorry you were inculcated with religion, and wish you luck with your recovery. Your children may remain clean of religion and false belief if you can adopt the ways of a true atheist. It is not necessary to have a higher power, but humanity has to grow more brain yet.

There is only one God. He is the God who created everyone. You sound a bit disrespectful, arrogant and blasphemous. May God treat you with mercy.
God is loving but just at the same time, He respects freedom and rewards accordingly to the good good and to those who decide to be obstinate in evil, those cannot stand the Holiness ogf God, they flee to hide from Gods presence.

You know, I can't help but think of my own father when you say these things. He, like you, said he would never do anything like that, not using your exact words, of course. And yet, if you were to ask him today how his son is doing, he would answer that he has no son.

I mean no disrespect to you, and in no way do I mean to suggest that you would do the same as my father did. But I, for one, am eternally grateful that God, whom you choose to claim to be better than, would never turn his back on me in the same way that my earthly father did. At least God provided a plan, as imperfect as you find it to be, to be reconciled to Him. My father here on earth will never allow that to happen.

Each of us views God in our own way. I'm am truly sorry that you cannot see God as I do.

You are over simplifying things to your confusion. For instance, if one of your children went out and dismembered 100 innocent people and it was public knowledge, the child then returns home and announces to you that he is going to do the same to you and the rest of the family. He says but first he needs to take a nap, but when he wakes up all bets are off. Do you rub his head while he sleeps or what?
