Why is it that i can do from 9 - 13 pullups in a go, but can only do 25-35 pushups in a go? does anyone knows the reason? pls tell me, thanks

youre using different muscles.

its all about what muscle groups you are using. both pull ups and push ups are good core excercises but pull up tend to work more on back and lats and the rear shoulder, while push ups work more pecs front shoulders arms and abdomen. keep doing both they are awesome core excercises just use proper technique too.

Because your working two different sets of muscles in your body. Push-ups are chest (pectorals), and pull-ups are arms (bicepts, tricepts, deltoids, etc). Its tipical that you can do more push-ups than pull-ups.

pull-ups use the biceps and muscles of the upper back and shoulder. push-ups use triceps and pecs, mostly. stronger chest = more push-ups

pull ups are harder because your pulling your body up and push ups are easier because you are just on the ground pushing your body
