try the loundry room, if u got one, if not, do try a closet, if the cat is hidding it, she means it, try a closet, or under the bed

A carrier is way too small for her. Clean out the closet and put her kitten in the carrier (carrier door open) , put food/water bowl in their, too. Put the litter box in, too, if it fits. Shut the door. Let her out when she calls you and shut the door behind her till she wants back in again. You've got to protect that kitten especially with males in the house.

Either that or put her in the bathroom but I can understand why she wants the closet.

YOU cannot put the kitten anywhere, just leave all the bedroom doors open and closet doors open, and if she goes back into a closet, just leave that door open so she can get in and out freely.... Believe me, with the motherly instincts, your cat will just keep taking her kitten where she wants to, I assure you, if she is taking it to the closet, she knows its safe in there, its just like a human mom, it wont do anything to harm its young, let them do their thing

good luck

Let her find the place she wants. She will find the best place. Just be sure she can do what she needs.

The other cats should be no problem.
