so there is this boy i like.. who we have the oddest relationship.. for instance.. we get in these huge fights and we stop talking, but he'll like after awhile he'll be like i miss you.. and he'll come in my work with this girl he used to like.. and he'll stare at me (people have caught him)or.. if i talk to another guy and leave with out saying good bye... he gets jealous. or he always comes in work when im working.. or i flirt wth another guy he'll be like you sooooo like him... and i can sometimes feel him watching me. you know? hes also a super flirt, and hes also told me i was in the "friend zone". what do you guys think?
he has the whole.. i dont want you, but i dont want anyone to have you aspect going on too.

He likes you but he can't bring himself to be close to you. He'd like to think that it's because there's something wrong with you. But when someone else gets interested in you he's reminded that he want's you but can bring himself to be with you. So to deny this truth he tries to sabatoge your romantic life. If no one is dating you it's justification of his actions. If you're dating someone it's a constant reminder to him that he screwed up or is emotionally paralyzed.
If he has serious intimacy issues there may not be much you can do as everytime you try to come close to him he will have to run away. This is my experience. If you even want to have a heart to heart with them you have to basically corner them and drill them with questions that they don't want to answer. It's frustrating as ever.
My advice is to move on to someone more emotionally available. Don't wait for this guy to change as you may be waiting a lllllllooooooonnnnnggg time. I've never seen a girl and guy be "just friends" without the romantic and flirting undertones present. I can't go so far as to say this doesn't exist. Just that I've never seen it.
