sesame seeds work well on pastry, on meats aswell as with vegetables.

- broccolli, stirfried with unions, roasted sesamies, salt and 1 egg.
- chicken with sesamy rozemary and honey, roasted in the oven at 200 for 30-45 min.
- fried trout with sesamy, almonds and lemon

i myself am not a baker, so i dont know any pastry ideas. but im sure they can be used in pastry.

if the seeds are raw. make sure that you roast them first, you can do this, bu heating them in a pan without oil or butter, keeping them moving so they brown easily. therye done when theyre a peanutty colour.

I use them on breads, rolls, veggies, chicken or any kind of Chinese entree. They're best lightly toasted since that brings out their flavor - just like toasted almonds are better than just blanched almonds. Toast them shortly before using for best flavor. Obviously, they toast on their own if you're using them on bread or rolls that you're baking.
