Check with breed rescue, if you're intent on a pup of a specific breed. Start with AKC.org, and go from there. You're gonna pay a bit more than $100, though, but consider ... the animal will be already vet-checked, up-to-date on shots, and probably spayed/neutered.
Have you done some research into these breeds? Both need a LOT of exercise. In most cases, an adult dog is an excellent choice. A puppy is a lot of work, and you could just as easily get a young-adult dog. Please consider the options before you decide.

Good Luck for under a hundred dollars, especially for a puppy. If you go to a pet store you are looking at about a grand for a puppy. If you go to a breeder, you are looking at anywhere from 500-2000. The cheapest (and best way) to go is the shelter, although a shelter will be about $200. And if you can only afford $100 for a dog now, you arent' going to be able to take care of it in the future. What are you going to do if it gets sick and needs a visit to the vet?

I would suggest going to a shelter or breed rescue. The dogs will most likely already be vaccinated and spayed/neutered,so you won't have to worry about that for another year, when your dog will need boosters. There is also heartworm preventative, food, license, and vet bills if the dog should get sick. You need to think about all of this.If you can't afford a dog,you really shouldn't get one,but if you're determined,do go to a shelter or rescue organization, and start putting a few dollars aside every week for vet care, food and the like. Good luck in your search.

Check rescue in you area.. Although I think it's going to cost you a little more than that.. The dogs are usually spayed/neutered and UTD on their shots and microchipped and everything else.

The first place that I always look is the classified ad's in my local newspaper. I also go to the dog pound to see if there are any there and then the SPCA. That should keep you busy for a while. If all else fails search the internet.

Just enter your own zip code here: http://search.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=siberian+husky&pet.Age=&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=NY
Happy shopping! Most of the dogs are from $50-$150, depending on the listing organization.

check some of the no-kill shelters and the humane society. And the ASPCA. These are great places to start. And if they dont have what you are looking for there they can help locate one at another rescue or shelter.
